Barbara PierreBarbara Pierre is President of Professional Touch, an administrative support consulting firm that provides solutions to administrative management challenges. Barbara's knowledge and expertise as a support specialist and virtual administrator comes from spending over 25 years in providing information technology solutions to organizations, start-ups, consultants, independent contractors and small businesses.  Since opening her business in 1985, Barbara has successfully supported a variety of clients in a myriad of industries, ranging from national non-profit organizations, mentoring organizations, political campaigns, service industries, chambers of commerce, psychologists, insurance companies, small businesses and independent entrepreneurs.

Barbara’s diverse background and clientele has gained her valuable insight into the world of business, specifically in the areas of administrative support, bookkeeping, business services, contact management, database management, desktop publishing, digital transcription services, invoicing, meeting and event planning, project management, sales and marketing support, and website services. Barbara has provided support to all levels of an organization including Executive Management, and has functioned in an administrative management capacity for many of her clients’ companies.

Barbara’s success as a consultant and support provider comes from a strong work ethic, a commitment to confidentiality and reliability, and the satisfaction she derives from building a lasting partnership with her clients.

Barbara was educated at Palomar College and San Diego State University in Nursing and English, and has continued professional training in business procedures and programs.  She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and Connected Women of Influence, and currently serves as a Board Member for San Diego Recruiters Roundtable (SDRR).  Barbara resides with her husband and business partner John in North San Diego County.
